Crystal Laputa is a vertical community consisting of two high-rise towers and a mid-rise building. Tower façades vary in form, utilizing cubic shapes to create a personal, identifiable quality for each unit. Evoking the sense of a floating neighborhood in the sky, the interconnected towers hover over an expansive lake.
While the final design for Crystal Laputa was executed by 5+design, a number of firms participated in earlier stages of the design, including: James KM Cheng Architects, Yazdani Studio, JFAK Architects, Moore Ruble Yudell Architects and Planners, and the client’s in-house architecture team.
